What is YANGA Sports Water?
YANGA Sports Water is a vitamin infused sports water created to help you stay hydrated throughout your workout! YANGA can be added to any membership type for $3.99 +tax every two weeks. YANGA is dispensed from a self-serve Hydration Station.

How does the YANGA Sports Water machine work?
Once you have added YANGA to your membership, simply place your water bottle under the pour spout, scan your membership card on the YANGA Sports Water Hydration Station, select your flavour, select your intensity and your water will be dispensed!
You can refill your water bottle every 15 minutes to ensure you stay hydrated throughout your workout.
Where can I get YANGA Sports Water?
We are excited to be the first to offer YANGA Sports Water in Canada! Currently, YANGA is available at select locations on Ontario.
Locations include: Windsor Central, Guelph Edinburgh Plaza, Etobicoke Kipling Queensway, Scarborough Morningside, Brampton Torbram and Queen, Mississauga Millcreek and Derry, London Huron Heights, London Proudfoot and Oxford, London Argyle Mall, London Westmount Mall.
If you are a Black Card member who uses one of the above locations but it is not your Home Club, you can still add YANGA Sports Water to your membership.

Starting Monday, May 9, members with reoccurring bi-weekly or monthly payments can add Yanga by clicking HERE and submitting the form. Alternatively, you can ask a host at the front desk.
1-Year Paid-in-Full members may add it with a host at the front desk during staffed hours.
Please note that adding YANGA to your membership may take 24-72 hours.
A new Club is opening near me, can I transfer my 4Less membership to the new location?
Yes! We allow transfers of Home Club for $20.00 +tax. Alternatively, you can access ALL clubs by upgrading to a Black Card membership. Visit the Membership Changes page to request an upgrade. To request a transfer, please go into your Club and speak with a host.
What is your policy regarding abuse of any kind in the club?
We believe in creating a welcoming, safe and no judgement environment for our members, guests and associates.
Fit4Less will not tolerate violence, physical aggression, discrimination, harassment or verbal abuse towards our associates.
Fit4Less reserves the right to cancel memberships if any of the above behaviour is observed, toward anyone in our facility.

What are exemptions for proof of vaccinations?
As stated by provincial governments, patrons who are unvaccinated MUST show proof of exemption for a medical reason (i.e., a physician’s note) in order to enter the Club. Some provinces will allow a COVID-19 test taken within the last 72 hours to be accepted.

Why does my location have 50-minute workout timeslots?
Workout bookings are currently NOT needed in any province!
Because of the current Government restrictions in your region, workout timeslots will temporarily be reduced to 50 minutes.
This is to ensure as many members have the opportunity to workout as possible. More timeslots have been added by decreasing the length of workout blocks. Don't worry, you can Instagram those progress pics once you've headed home!
Can I change my membership from a Happy Minor to a regular membership?
If you have a Happy Minor membership but are no longer a minor (anyone who is between 16 and the age of majority in the province of where their club is located), you can now update your membership in-club during staffed hours. When changing your membership over, you may choose to stay a 4Less member, or upgrade to a Black Card membership for unlimited access to all amenities!
*Please note that proof of age is required to update membership.
How are you deciding the club capacity?
Club capacity is calculated on a club-by-club basis based on the square footage of the club or following guidelines set out by public health authorities.
What if I'm late to my time slot?
Workout bookings are currently NOT needed in any province!
Members are given a 15-minute grace period before their time slot may be given to a standby member. If capacity allows, you will still be able to get in for a workout.

What happens if I don’t show up for my booked workout?

We encourage everyone to cancel a workout if they can’t make it. This will allow another member to use the spot! Workouts can be cancelled even after the time-slot has started. Not cancelling your workout time-slot may result in a one week membership suspension (please don’t make us do this!).
How do I cancel a booked workout?

When logged in, simply click on your existing booking, confirm your cancellation, and you're done! The time slot will then be open for another member to use.

Time slots to book a workout are available 72 hours in advance. For example, if a timeslot starts at 9:00 am on Friday, it will be bookable at 9:00 am on Tuesday (72 hours before).
Why are no times showing when I try to book a workout?
Workout bookings are currently NOT needed in any province!
If no time-slots are showing when you’re booking a workout, it means that the club has hit the daily maximum for bookings. We recommend checking back later in case someone has cancelled their workout that day, or, if you have a Black Card, booking at your next closest club.
We also experience no-shows so if your preferred time-slot it’s at capacity but you’d like to try to get into the gym, you can show up 10 to 15 minutes after to time-slot has started. If capacity allows, you will be able to get in for a workout.
Time slots to book a workout are available 72 hours in advance. For example, if a timeslot starts at 9:00 am on Friday, it will be bookable at 9:00 am on Tuesday (72 hours before).

To create an account, you'll need two things:
1) Your email (that is connected to your membership)
2) Your membership number*
Once these are entered, you'll be prompted to create a password. After this, your email and password are all that's needed to book a workout!

How do I book a workout?

Booking a workout is easy and can be done in three simple steps!
Step 1: Create an Account
Before booking your first workout, you'll need to create an account. Don't worry, you'll only need to do this once! To start, you’ll need the email we have on file and your membership number. Your membership number was emailed to the email address we have on file or it can be found in your membership contract email (search “Welcome to Fit4Less” in your inbox)
*Your membership number is NOT the number on your membership card or key tag.
Step 2: Sign In
Once you’ve created an account, sign in using your email and password.
Step 3: Book a Workout
Once logged in, you'll see your Home Club and time slots to book a workout. Simply select the time you'd like book your workout*, confirm your reservation, and you're done! Once successfully booked, you will receive an email confirmation with your next workout!
If you don't see a time that you'd like to book, it means that time slot has reached it's capacity. We recommend checking back later, as a time-slot may have opened up if another member cancelled their reservation, or, if you have a Black Card, booking at your next closest club.
Do I have to wear a mask while working out?
Fit4Less will be following all mask guidelines and protocol as set out by Regional Health Units. Some clubs will require members to wear masks for the entirety of their workout, while others allow masks to be removed while performing an exercise. For example, walking to your next machine? Mask up! Please come prepared with a mask.
Exceptions include people who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons or those who require accommodation in accordance with the Human Rights Code. A mask can be cloth (non-medical), disposable or medical.
What is my membership number?
Your membership number can found in your membership contract that was emailed to you when you joined (search "Welcome to Fit4Less" in your inbox).
Your membership number is not the number on your membership card or tag.
Do your clubs have showers?
This amenity varies depending on location. Please check the clubs location page.
Can I bring a friend to workout?
Absolutely! Your friend will simply need to purchase a Guest Pass from a self-service kiosk. Alternatively, you can bring a friend on one of our Free Workout Days, held on the last Thursday of every month and workout for free!
Free Workout Days will take place in all provinces excluding British Columbia.
What is a FastPass?
The FastPass is a bracelet that will grant you access to the club instead of a membership card. They can be purchased at select clubs for $15 + applicable tax. Ask a Host for more details!
I have a 1-Year Paid in Full membership and missed out on months of gym access. What happens to my membership?
Great news! All 1-Year Paid in Full memberships have been automatically extended to match the duration of the closure, so nobody misses out on gym time.
What do you use to clean the clubs?
For the safety of staff and members, clubs are cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant.
I’m a current member (joined before March 16th, 2020), do I need to pay the Annual Cleanliness Fee?
No, we appreciate your loyalty and because of this you don’t have the pay this fee!
What is the Annual Cleanliness Fee?
We want to ensure our clubs remain safe, clean and well maintained for our staff and members. The Annual Cleanliness Fee allows us to offer the cleanest facilities out there! We are able to provide members an abundance of cleaning stations, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, regular facility upgrades and maintenance, shorter down time for broken equipment and more.
I don’t get emails from Fit4Less. How can I give you my email?
You can speak to an in-club Host in person or over the phone (find the phone number here) to request to be added to the email list. This may take up to 5 business days to be successfully added to the list.
What amenities are open?
To ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing, the clubs will not be open 24/7. We're hoping this is only a temporary measure to keep staff and members safe and healthy! All other amenities are available.

To ensure everyone has a chance to visit our clubs, each member will be limited to booking one time slot per day.
Is there a time limit on my workout?
Workouts will be limited to 75 minutes with a 15 minute change over time. Members are given a 15-minute grace period before their timeslot may be given to a standby member. If capacity allows, you will still be able to get in for a workout.

Why was I charged when the clubs closed?
Unfortunately, due to the quick action that was needed to close our clubs, we were unable to stop payments made on Monday, March 16th. When the clubs re-open, members will be compensated for the time they have paid for.
When will my contract be renewed?
Your contract renewal date will be exactly one year after you've signed up for a membership. This date is stated in your contract that was emailed to you upon signing up for your membership. To find this email in your inbox, search for 'Welcome to Fit4Less" (be sure to check your spam and junk folder). If you're unable to find your contract in your email inbox, please see a Host in club for assistance, or you can call the club by finding the phone number here!
How do I get a guest pass?
You can purchase a single-use guest pass for $15+ applicable taxes from from a self-service kiosk. We have also introduced No Commitment memberships should you choose to try out Fit4Less.
How do I change my payment method?
If you're looking to update any banking information or change payment information, or you're looking to pay a balancing owing or pay for the remainder of your year, please use the self-service kiosk located in the front entrance of the Club.

Can I bring a friend to workout if I have a Black Card membership?

What do I need to sign up online?
Depending on the type of membership payment you choose, Paid-in-Full or Preauthorized-Payment, your payment type will vary.
For a 1-Year Paid-in-Full membership, you can pay with Credit, Debit, or INTERAC Online.
For a 1-Year Commitment or No-Commitment membership, you will need your banking information (shown below) to set up automatic payment withdrawals (pre-authorized payments).

Is there a women's only section?
There are no women's only sections in the clubs, however, we heavily value a no judgement environment so everyone can feel comfortable when they're working out!

What if I forget or lose my membership card?
A membership card is always required to enter a club. If a Fit4Less Member or Black Card Friend does not have the membership card with them they will not be granted access into the club. If your card has been lost/stolen, a new card can be purchased during staffed hours (see my club hours) for $15 + applicable taxes.
What's a Happy Minor?
A Happy Minor is anyone who is between 16 and the age of majority in the province of where their club is located (defined in future reference as 16-18/19). A Happy Minor may only use Fit4Less clubs as 4Less members, and only during staffed hours (see my club hours). Hydro massage bed and massage chair access is available for purchase for $5+tax per session.
Happy Minors can now join online! A parent or legal guardian will need to be present when you pick up your membership card to complete the joining process.
How do I get a receipt for my membership?
If you require a receipt, please visit fit4less.ca/privacy-policy and locate the Print Personal Information Request Form at the bottom of the page. Please complete the form and send it back to us at privacyofficer@fit4less.ca. A response will be sent to the applicant within 30 days of receiving the signed form.
How do I check into the club?
To check in, simply scan your membership card and enter through the doors, that's it! Each visit, you'll be required to scan your membership card to enter. If you signed up online and don't have your membership card yet, just visit a self-service kiosk or see a Host at the front desk for assistance.
What’s available at Fit4Less?
In addition to 50+ pieces of cardio equipment, a variety of strength training equipment and a large free weight area (5 lb to 75 lb dumbbells), Fit4Less also features a 30 Minute Express Circuit, Functional Workout Area (at specific locations) and Black Card Workout Areas (at specific locations). During staffed hours additional amenities are also available including tanning, massage chairs, hydro massage beds and cooler drinks.
Can I get a tour before I commit to signing up?
Absolutely! Visit the Club you’re interested in during staffed hours and ask the Host if they could give you a tour. Every Club also offers Free Workout Days on the last Thursday of every month to give non-members the opportunity to try out the equipment before signing up!
How old do I have to be to join Fit4Less?
A new member needs to be 16 years of age or older to join or use a Fit4Less club. Anyone who is between 16 and the age of majority in the province of where their club is located is known as a Happy Minor.
Happy Minors may only use Fit4Less clubs as a 4Less member, and may only use the club during staffed hours. For more on the minimum age for joining a Fit4Less, please see your club for details.
Minors can now join online! A parent or legal guardian will need to be present when you pick up your membership card to complete the joining process.
Does Fit4Less offer fitness classes?
Fit4Less does not offer fitness classes but clubs have an easy to use 30-Minute Express Circuit to guide you through a full body workout.
How do I get a membership/join Fit4Less?
Memberships can be purchased online at any time or at any Fit4Less location during staffed hours (see my club hours). If you plan to sign up for a membership in club, please bring your pre-authorized payment information with you. This can be easily located on your personal banking mobile app, online banking or simply bring a void cheque. If you purchase your membership online, you can pick up your membership card at the club during staffed hours. Check your club location page for hours.
Please note: If you purchase a membership at a location that is currently closed due to COVID-19 government mandates, your bi-weekly payments will not start until your Home Club has opened. If paying by credit card, your initial payment will be taken at joining. Your memberships actual commencement date will be shifted to the date the location opens.
Does Fit4Less offer personal training and child minding?

What’s the difference between the Black Card membership and the 4Less membership?
In addition to 50+ pieces of cardio equipment, strength and training equipment, free weights (and more!), Black Card Members may enjoy additional in-club amenities, such as unlimited use of Hydro Massage Beds and Massage Chairs, free tanning, and access to any Fit4Less location in Canada. How do I get a Fit4Less gym bag?
As a Black Card member, you receive a free gym bag as a gift for joining! If you’re not a Black Card member, you can purchase a gym bag for $20+applicable tax.
How do I get my membership card?
Let’s get you started! Come into your home Fit4Less club and pick up your membership card during staffed hours. One of our friendly Hosts can’t wait to show you how it works.
Can I work out on holidays?
If your club is generally open 24/7 you will be able to workout on holidays, however, the club will be unstaffed. Please visit our Holiday Hours page for morning information for specific holiday hours.
Clubs located in a Real Canadian Superstore, Atlantic Superstore or Independent will be based on grocery store holiday hours.
I signed up online, how do I get my membership card?
When you sign up online, you'll receive a confirmation email with your membership contract and instructions to get your card. Depending on your home club, you will either retrieve your card from a self-service kiosk located at the club, or from one of our friendly Hosts - but don't worry, this will all be detailed in your confirmation email!
What if I can’t figure out how a machine works?
There are small instructional visuals on all machines to help you out! If you're still unsure how a machine works, a Host would be happy to give you a full walk-through.
Do I need to bring my card every time?
A membership card is always required to enter a club. If a Fit4Less member or Black Card Friend does not have the membership card with them they will not be granted access into the club.
What do I do if a machine is broken?
If something isn't working properly, you can inform our Host that the machine is down so we can get maintenance out right away to fix it. If you require the machine for your workout, our Hosts would be happy to suggest an alternate workout that works the same muscle.
Can I record my workouts or take pictures?
You can, who doesn't love to share their gym progress! If you choose to use your camera, we ask that you not capture other members in pictures due to privacy issues.
Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
Instead of offering one time discounts or deals, we keep prices low and affordable year-round with memberships starting at $6.99 every two weeks plus a $49.99 Cleanliness Fee and applicable tax (a $49.99 Annual Cleanliness Fee is charged on or around your anniversary date).
Do your clubs have Wi-Fi?
We don’t currently offer Wi-Fi at our Clubs.
What payment methods do you accept?
In-club purchases such as tanning lotion or cooler drinks can be made through debit or credit card. When paying for a membership the options vary depending on the membership type selected. No Commitment memberships are paid using pre-authorized payments taken directly from your bank account. The fee due at the time of joining can be paid using debit or credit card orInterac Online . 1-Year Paid in Full memberships are paid using debit card, credit card or Interac Online.
Can you change the channel on the TVs?
The TV channels are preset and can’t be changed by Hosts. We try our best to select channels that appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
How does the Cleanliness Fee on the 1-Year Paid in Full membership work?
When purchasing a 1 Year Paid in Full membership, a $49.99 Cleanliness Fee is applied. This fee is paid at the time of joining and, should you choose to renew your membership, at the time of renewal.
Can I get a towel if I decide to shower?
In order to keep prices low, we don't offer towel service. Instead, we leave it up to members and guests to provide their own towels.

Can I add credit to my account so payment don't come out of my bank account?
Absolutely! If you sign up for a No Commitment (PAP) membership, you can put a credit of 1 year of membership fees on your account. This results in your payments being made without any withdrawals from your bank account. You will still need to enter banking information at the time of joining.
In order to do this, please use the self-service kiosk located in the front entrance of the Club.

Do your clubs have water fountains?

What do I do if there’s an emergency during unstaffed hours?
Clubs with unstaffed hours either have: Emergency Response Stations with audio/video communication to a live agent or emergency dispatch; Panic Buttons that will send a signal to police services.
Can I transfer my membership over to someone?
Our memberships are non-transferable, but with Black Card Friends, a friend or family member can use your membership if you’re not!
Can I use chalk in the weight area?
We ask you not to use chalk because of any possible allergies from other people in the club, and our commitment to keeping our clubs clean and allergen-free.
Can I transfer my 4Less membership to another club?
Yes! 4Less memberships can be transferred to a new Home Club for $20.00 +tax. Please visit a host in-club and they can make the Home Club change for you. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a Black Card membership for $5.00 +tax more every two weeks and access ALL clubs across Canada. The upgrade fee is indicative of current membership pricing.
Where can I put my personal belongings during my workout?
Please feel free to use our lockers during your workout, we just ask that you provide your own lock! Please note that any items left over night will be removed.
Does Fit4Less offer short-term memberships?
Great news! All new memberships (with the exception of 1 year paid-in-full) are no-commitment!
Do I need indoor shoes?
Absolutely! Not only will indoor shoes help you with your workout, it’ll also help keep the club clean! You can store your outdoor shoes in a locker, or on the shoe rack.
What do I need to use the Black Card amenities?
A Black Card Member must show their membership before using any of the amenities. When tanning, photo ID is required in addition to the Black Card membership.
What should I wear to work out? Do I need to bring anything?
We are a no judgement gym, so wear what makes you feel good, and the people around you feel comfortable. Shoes, tops, such as t-shirts or tank tops, and bottoms, such as shorts or workout pants, are required. Comfortable, breathable clothing and indoor running shoes are a good place to start. We recommend that you always bring a lock for use of our free lockers, a water bottle to hydrate, and a towel for drying off.

What’s a Hydro Massage Bed?
Our Hydro Massage Beds are perfect for relaxation and post-workout recovery. The combination of hot and cold water is used to localize pressure on sore spots and loosen up your muscles. To check if your Club has this Black Card Amenity, please visit Fit4Less.ca/locations.

What’s the 30 Minute Express Circuit?
This is a circuit designed to give you the ultimate full body workout! There is a designated area for this circuit with all the machines labeled and detailed with what muscle is being worked, as well as how to use the machine. Visit Fit4Less.ca/workouts for more information.
What’s a “Black Card Friend”?
Black Card members can share their card with friends and family who are the age of majority or older as stated in their province. The Black Card Friend has access to the home Fit4Less club of the Black Card member and other amenities available to 4Less members. Black Card Friends must register on their first visit during staffed hours and may not access the club at the same time as the Black Card member.
What do I need to use the tanning beds/booths?
In addition to your Black Card membership, any member who appears to be less than 25 years old will be required to show photo ID. All tanners must: be the age of majority in the province where the club is located, follow SMART Tanning Guidelines, wear tanning goggles every time they tan, and space their sessions at least 48 hours apart.
How can I share my Black Card membership?
Simply give your membership card to your friend or family member. On their first visit they will be asked to sign a Health History form. Only ONE person per Black Card is allowed in the club at a time. Remember your Black Card Friend must be age of majority in the province of residence and may choose to purchase Black Card amenities on a per use basis.

The Black Card Membership gives members access to all Fit4Less Clubs across Canada. At this time, your Fit4Less membership will not work at EconoFitness in Quebec.
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Your guest will simply need to purchase a Guest Pass from a self-service kiosk. Alternatively, you can bring a friend on one of our Free Workout Days, held on the last Thursday of every month and workout for free!
Free Workout Days will take place in all provinces excluding British Columbia.
Can I upgrade my membership?
Absolutely! There are so many great benefits to becoming a Black Card member! You can upgrade your Fit4Less membership by sending a request to Membership Changes. Check out the Black Card benefits here.
Will my contract end at the end of my commitment period?
If you have a 1-Year Paid in Full membership, your membership will end at the conclusion of the commitment (contract) period. If you have a No Commitment or Commitment (Preauthorized Payment) membership, your membership will continue on a month-to-month basis unless we are notified of your cancellation. To cancel outside a commitment period, we will need 30 days’ notice to cancel.
Please note that new memberships are now no-commitment (with the exception of 1-year paid-in-full).
What’s different for a Happy Minor?
Happy Minors may only use a Fit4Less club as a 4Less member, and are to access the club during staffed hours only. Check-ins must be at least 30 minutes prior to staffed hours ending. Access to massage chairs and hydro massage beds may be purchased for $5+tax.
Where can I check the terms of my membership?
You can check the terms of your membership by looking at your Membership Agreement, which was emailed to you at the time of signing up.
I doubled scanned my membership card and can’t get in!
There is a 30 Minute Pass Back Rule that blocks your card from being scanned more than once within 30 minutes.
How do I Lock in my Rate?
The option to Lock in your Rate is an opt-in option when signing up. By Locking in your Rate, you’re ensuring that your original membership rate never increases for as long as you maintain your membership. This is charged on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st.
I just purchased a membership but need to cancel, what do I do?
If you need to cancel your membership immediately after purchasing it, you may review your contract in accordance to the Consumer Protection Act in your province. You may request a cancellation at your Home Club in person or by calling your Home Club directly. You can find the phone number by searching for your club here.
Can I downgrade from a Black Card to a 4Less membership?
Downgrades are only possible if you have a Commitment Black Card Membership that is outside of the one-year commitment period.
Can I put my membership on freeze (hold)?
After two years of offering complimentary membership freezes and with Club operations back to normal across the country, freezes will no longer be offered after April 19, 2022. If your membership is currently frozen until April 20th or later, it will remain on freeze until your Freeze End Date at which time regular bi-weekly membership payments will be begin.
How do I cancel my membership?
You may cancel your membership in-club on the self-service kiosk located in the front vestibule, or over the phone by finding the phone number here (please note: our focus is currently on cleaning and member safety so the phone may not be answered on your first attempt). We require at least 30-days' notice to cancel your membership. If you are still in your commitment period, you’re required to pay out the year. If you purchased a 1-Year Paid in Full membership, your membership is non-refundable.
Black Card members who have a 'No Commitment' membership or those who purchased a membership as of June 22, 2020 (excluding 1-Year Paid in Full memberships), may cancel their membership at any time with 30-days notice.
Can I use my Fit4Less Membership at GoodLife clubs?
A Fit4Less membership provides access to Fit4Less clubs only. Similarly, a GoodLife Fitness membership provides access to GoodLife clubs only.
